Confirmation of measles vaccination: where can I get the certificate and what should be included in it?

Why do you need a certificate?

Photo 2A vaccination certificate is a document compiled on the basis of a medical record of preventive vaccinations and containing all the information about the immunization performed. It indicates the names and date of the drugs administered, and the local reaction of the vaccinee.
The certificate is an attachment to the medical card. A certificate may also be issued in person. This document has the same legal force as a vaccination card. Vaccination is the only method of protecting the country’s population from dangerous infectious viral pathologies. There are mandatory vaccinations and those that are optional. All of them are displayed in the medical book.

A certificate of immunoprophylaxis performed is necessary in order to understand whether a person is protected from infection with severe infectious viral pathologies and whether he poses a threat to others. If the measles vaccination has not been done, then the child or adult may be a carrier of a dangerous virus.

A vaccination certificate is required in the following cases:

  • enrollment in kindergarten;
  • registration for school;
  • admission to a technical school or university;
  • enrollment in the armed ranks of Russia;
  • obtaining a visa to foreign countries;
  • hospitalization;
  • employment (especially if a person is applying for the position of a doctor, cook, waiter, teacher, teacher, educator);
  • registration at the maternity hospital;
  • visiting a sanatorium, dispensary, recreation center;
  • travel abroad.

Vaccination appointments are made by doctors. The certificate is certified by the doctor’s signature and the seal and stamp of the medical institution. If you fill out the form yourself according to the sample, then such a document will be considered invalid.

Vaccinations are given against many dangerous diseases. To support immunity, revaccination is carried out. Therefore, the certificate is constantly updated and supplemented with new information.

Where and how to get a measles vaccination certificate?

Many people have a question about where they can get a certificate stating that they have been vaccinated against measles. The document is issued in the place where the last immunization against this dangerous viral disease was carried out.
For example, if a certificate is needed for kindergarten, then you need to contact the children's clinic at your place of residence.

If a document is required upon admission to school, then it is worth visiting the medical office of a kindergarten or local hospital. The first time a child is vaccinated against measles is at 12 months.

Many children at this age attend kindergarten. To apply to the university, you should take a vaccination certificate from school: they are revaccinated against measles at 15-16 years of age. In any case, you can contact your local clinic. All documents for the patient are usually transferred there and stored there.

If all vaccinations are completed on time and documented in a medical record, then you can receive a certificate of measles immunization in a short time. But you need to understand that such a document does not indicate only the last vaccine given. The certificate must contain information about all vaccinations performed (routine, emergency).

Algorithm for how to obtain a vaccination certificate:

  • visit the district clinic (medical office of a kindergarten, school, university, last place of work);
  • go to your local physician with your passport and card and ask to issue a vaccination certificate;
  • wait for the doctor or nurse to fill out the form;
  • put the clinic stamp at the registry.

Both sellers and buyers face liability for a fake vaccination certificate

Like everything new, vaccination has given rise to a new type of fraud. They offer fake certificates stating that a person has allegedly been vaccinated against COVID-19. The price starts from 1.5 thousand, which should also be of concern. It is not clear who needs these certificates and why, but there is a demand!

Although Roskomnadzor blocks such sites, the service remains very popular. At the top of the search engine is the query “buy coronavirus vaccination certificate in Moscow.” We open the first site we come across. Here you have the address and phone number. In large letters there is a reassuring inscription: “Official medical certificates.” Let's move on. On the main page there is an offer to “officially buy a COVID-19 vaccination certificate without going through the procedure itself.”

We'll call. A polite voice promises excellent service: “You just need to fill out the form completely with the policy number, with the address at the place of registration. Then they will call you back and agree on the timing of registration and delivery of documents.”

A couple of hours pass and - voila - there is already a meeting with the courier. The man doesn’t bother wearing a mask, although he says he has more than enough contacts.

“Do you know how much more I have? Until eight in the evening, drive and drive! We work every day!” - says the man.

Having received the cash, the courier is ready to answer any question. “Are these real seals? - Yes of course! Go to State Services, check in a day, you will have them!”

Will not. Such an account does not exist on State Services. The stamps were a little blurred under the snow while the document was being checked, but nevertheless everything is clearly visible. So, we have a certificate in hand, according to which a certain Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov - the namesake of the Russian Tsar - a non-existent person with a residence permit in Vladivostok received both components of Sputnik V at the 46th Moscow clinic. There's even a vaccine number here.

Every whim for your money. The date of vaccination is any, even if it has not yet arrived. It is easy to check that at this address in the 46th clinic they do not give coronavirus vaccinations at all. This is a typical fake. Other scammers, for example, show certificates supposedly from the Botkin Hospital as advertising. Also not at the address.

“Vaccination is not carried out within the walls of our institution. This is an obvious fake, because, judging by what we see, this doctor has never worked in our clinic, and the stamps that are depicted on this document do not correspond to the stamps that are used in the Botkin Hospital,” says the deputy head physician for medical unit of the State Clinical Hospital named after. S.P. Botkin Zurab Bagatelia.

From 1800 to 2.5 thousand rubles. Different offers - different conditions. Here the calculation is for the completely gullible. Scammers who create groups on Telegram and VKontakte use the classic deception scheme: “Good evening! Unfortunately, prepayment is required."

Needless to say, having received an advance payment, scammers immediately stop answering calls and messages? So instead of a vaccination certificate, the naive buyer is left with only a money order receipt. But this may be for the better.

“There is Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for criminal punishment not only for the production of counterfeit documents, but also for their presentation and use, so Roskachestvo does not recommend that anyone buy any fake documents,” says Ilya Loevsky, deputy head of Roskachestvo.

Using fake documents can result in a heavy fine or even imprisonment for up to six months. But there is a worse scenario - when someone who hides behind a fake certificate becomes a source of infection.

“If this certificate gave you the right, for example, to participate in some kind of work where you actively communicate with people, get close contact, and it is established that you infected these people by presenting a fictitious certificate, then there will be a much more serious charge.” , it depends on the consequences,” explains lawyer Igor Putilov.

Why take this risk? For example, there are cases when you don’t want to get vaccinated, but your employer puts pressure on you. So remind him, lawyers advise, that vaccination is, in fact, voluntary. Many expect that, having received international recognition, the certificate will help overcome borders.

But why bother with forgery, wonders Stefan Schneider, an Austrian student with a Russian passport. He received the injection for free in Moscow, primarily concerned about the health of his Russian grandmother. Plus he wants to believe that he has acquired a reliable travel companion.

“I hope that in the future it will give the right to travel without quarantine, without a PCR test. I hope that Sputnik will also be recognized,” says Stefan Schneider.

These are perspectives. In the meantime, this certificate only confirms the maximum possible protection against coronavirus today. Something that cannot be bought from scammers.

How is the measles vaccination indicated in the medical record?

Having received a certificate of immunization, a person who is far from medicine may not understand where exactly it is indicated that he was vaccinated against measles. The fact is that in the document many vaccines have an abbreviated letter designation.

For example, the measles vaccine is a JCV. The abbreviation stands for live measles vaccine. This is the name of a domestic drug that is used for free vaccination of Russian citizens.

The composition of the LCV contains the following components:

  • live inactivated measles pathogen strain Leningrad - 16;
  • kanamycin sulfate;
  • gelatin;
  • gentamicin sulfate;
  • LS-18 as a stabilizer.

The measles virus is grown artificially on quail embryo culture. Antibodies to the pathogen are developed after a few weeks in 95% of vaccinated people.

According to the National Calendar of Immunoprophylaxis, LIV should be administered at 1, 6, 15-17 years of age. After the course, a person becomes protected for a period of more than 12-15 years.

Also, the measles vaccine can be written like this:

  • MMR – combined vaccine against measles, rubella and mumps;
  • Priorix is a Belgian drug that forms immunity to mumps, rubella and measles;
  • Ruvax is a French monovaccine.

The definition of the name of the measles vaccination drug can be clarified by the nurse or therapist who issues the certificate.

Dear patients and parents!

In connection with the complicated epidemiological situation regarding measles in Moscow, Russia and adjacent territories* , in pursuance of the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor for the city of Moscow dated 08/07/2017 No. 15 “On carrying out additional sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) measures against measles in city of Moscow", Order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation dated March 21, 2014 No. 125n "On approval of the national calendar of preventive vaccinations and the calendar of preventive vaccinations for epidemic indications", Sanitary and Epidemiological Rules SP 3.1.2952-11 "Prevention of measles, rubella and epidemic mumps, Instructions of the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor for the city of Moscow in the Northern Administrative District dated 02/07/2018 in order to prevent the spread of measles among patients and staff of the Institute, hospitalization of children, as well as persons accompanying them, is carried out only with Certificates from clinics (children’s and adults), confirming one of the points:

  • Vaccination and revaccination against measles according to age: children from 1 year to 18 years and adults;
  • The fact of having had measles (with the provision of a photocopy of the corresponding entry from the outpatient card or an extract from the medical history, or a certificate certified by the signature and seal of a doctor).
  • Results of a blood test for the presence of measles antibodies (IgG), obtained during the last month before hospitalization or seeking medical help at the Institute.
  • If you receive a negative or questionable result, you must be vaccinated against measles before hospitalization at the Institute with a live measles vaccine (LMV).

Adults receive LCV vaccination twice with a 3-month break between vaccinations. A certified vaccination certificate is required!

Medical contraindications for measles vaccination: Temporary contraindications are:

  • acute infectious and non-infectious diseases or exacerbation of chronic diseases (vaccination is postponed until recovery or remission),
  • pregnancy.

Constant contraindications are:

  • severe allergic reactions to aminoglycosides,
  • for chicken or quail protein (depending on the type of specific vaccine, if it is produced using chicken or quail eggs),
  • primary immunodeficiency,
  • malignant blood diseases and neoplasms,
  • severe reaction (hyperthermia above 40°C, hyperemia or swelling more than 8 cm in diameter at the injection site) or complication of a previous administration of measles vaccine

If the child’s legal representative has contraindications to vaccination, his hospitalization together with the child will not be possible. Ensure that the child is accompanied by a vaccinated family member.

What category of citizens are not vaccinated?

The LCV vaccine, like any vaccination, has a number of contraindications. Some people should not be immunized against this viral disease. In this case, the person is given a medical exemption.

Vaccination against measles is not carried out in the following cases:

Photo 5

  • age under one year and over 35 years;
  • development of severe adverse reactions to a previous measles vaccination;
  • intolerance to the components of CPC, Ruvax or Priorix (most often, hypersensitivity to gentamicin or kanamycin is observed);
  • acquired immunodeficiency condition (eg, AIDS);
  • allergy to quail or chicken protein.

In these cases, a medical exemption from immunization must be submitted to the institution that requires a certificate of vaccination against measles. If you have such a document, a person may have problems when enrolling in a school, university, or applying for a job.

Where to get a certificate

To obtain a certificate of medical exemption from vaccination against Covid, you should contact the clinic. It is prescribed by the local physician based on the data in the medical record. Perhaps, to provide it, an examination and conclusion of more specialized specialists - a cardiologist, an allergist, an infectious disease specialist and others - will be required. They will determine whether it is really impossible to get vaccinated against coronavirus, and for how long a medical exemption from vaccination should be given.
